Tiny art is ideal for the many of us who now live in small spaces, whether alone or with others.
They are light enough to travel with whether for sprucing up a hotel room, or as gifts for those whom we’re visiting.
Tiny art allows us to get lost inside a little world, even if just for a few moments.

These frames are made from “modeling foam” or “foam clay”. Commonly used in making cosplay accoutrements, it is very light and moldable, making it great for weapons you need to carry around all day at an event!

I got hooked on it after making that and wanted to continue working with the stuff, leading to my Nightmare before Christmas clock coffin <will be here> and other experiments.

Using silicone molds became my focus, and I found molds specifically for tiny frames, with miniature rococo decorations. I used acrylic paint to color the frames and took inspiration from the different images to create harmonious combinations.
I’m always experimenting and discovering more techniques for consistent results and acquiring new molds for variety of sizes. But they stay pretty small!
